Heat pump control for SAPAC and i-regul
See and steer a SAPAC heat pump from Home Assistant, with the same serial number and password you use in the i-regul connect app.
What it does
- See how the heat pump is doing: temperatures, pressures, flow, power and efficiency (COP).
- Follow the energy used for heating, hot water, cooling and defrosting. It works with the Home Assistant Energy dashboard.
- Set the target temperature of each heating zone and switch between auto, comfort, eco and away.
- Control the hot water tank: its target temperature and modes, including the electric backup heater.
- Allow or stop heating and cooling, acknowledge an alarm or start a defrost with one tap.
- Start from a ready-made dashboard with an overview page and an energy page.
How it works
- Add it through HACSUse the button on this page, download the integration and restart Home Assistant.
- Add the integrationIn Home Assistant, go to Settings, then Devices & services, and add WattKeeper - i-regul.
- Enter your detailsType the serial number and password from i-regul connect. Your heat pump appears with its sensors and controls.
Good to know
- It talks to the i-regul cloud, not directly to the heat pump. If their server is slow or offline, values can lag or show as unavailable.
- Data travels unencrypted, exactly as it does with the official i-regul connect app.
- By default it checks every 5 minutes, which keeps the load on the i-regul server low.
- The heat pump heats water only up to the installer’s maximum (55 °C on a Mistral Compact). Above that, the electric backup heater takes over, with its own setting.
- The guide on GitHub is written in French.
- This is an independent project, not affiliated with i-regul or SAPAC. Use it at your own risk.
